Elizabeth Hovhannisyan, ACSW/Founder

Hello!

My name is Elizabeth. AIM  was founded after many clients expressed how difficult it was for them to navigate the mental health care system and find quality mental healthcare.

I love the work I do and am passionate about helping people alleviate mental health symptoms. I get the honor of seeing individuals committed to treatment make subtle changes, accept, communicate, do homework and witness life shifts happen with them.

I completed my graduates degree in Social Welfare with a focus on Mental Health at University of Southern California. My undergraduate degrees Psychology and Criminology were completed at the University of California, Irvine.

I have had the pleasure of working with diverse populations and different age groups. I have experience working in residential facilities with adults and elderly, doing field social work for children, adults and elderly, working as a behavior interventionist at children’s homes and schools, and adult vocational schools/daycares. My experiences have allowed me to gain valuable insight in people’s day to day lives. I hope I have made as much an impact on my clients as they have on me, and look forward to creating meaningful relationships with you.
